The Crazy View (Ch. 21-25)

While reading chapters 21-25 I had mixed feelings about what had happened. At first when they said that Tom was guilty I couldn’t believe it. When the verdict hit I thought that Tom would run away. I thought that Atticus would “strongly suggest” leaving town. Either that or they would decide that their verdict was wrong and that he should be a free man. When Atticus and Tom Robinson had found out that they had lost the case I thought that the jury didn’t really think about it because they came up with a verdict that should’ve been different.

When morning came I found that the black people of Maycomb went out of their way to thank Atticus with all that food. For these chapters I mainly found it saddening because Tom was going to jail for something he didn’t do. I think that the judge wanted Tom to be free. That is why he gave Atticus Tom. I think that more things will develop with this case and I think Atticus will be shot. I think that Bob Ewells will shoot him then run away. I think he will be ok though. This is what I think about what is currently happening.

Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.

This quote can be independently discovered wile reading the book To Kill a Mockingbird because the African American people toke with gratitude the harsh, racism, and other bad things that we had to reading during the trial. They were trying to convict Tom Robinson by just being racist even thought he did not did raped Mayella Ewell but they still wanted to put Tom Robinson in jail. Imagine you being Atticus with that case and then at the end of the trial the African American brought you a lot of things because you won the trial you will be happy and everyone will be you’re client because they trust you with their liberty.

While reading chapters 21-25 I had mixed feelings about what had happened. When Atticus and Tom Robinson had found out that they had lost the case I thought that the jury didn’t really think about it because they came up with a verdict that should’ve been different.  I did think that when Calpruna had found out about them going to the trial and then giving them the 9th degree when walking home. When morning came I found that the black people of Maycomb went out of their way to thank Atticus with all that food. I found extraordinary dumb that aunt Alexandria wouldn’t let Jean’s friend Walter stay with them just because his family drank. Real funny when Jem took Dill down to the creek to go skinny dipping and then jean didn’t get to go, so she just hung out around the house. I found it very interesting that Jem was like” Look here what I got just dont tell nobody” Because he had hair and was growing up.  For these chapters I mainly found it sadening because Tom was going to jail for something he dident do.

This last but not least chapters that we have read have been really interesting because the injustice verdict was committed on the trial. Even Though they did a not so great of a decision the black population deliver an avalanche of food for the finch household for fighting for Tom Robinson even though Atticus was white and Tom Robinson was black. This proved that Atticus was a good lawyer for any type of person even though the type of race that they are. Hopefully the Maycomb County will change one day by not discriminating nobody by the color of the skin that he is. They will soon or later will figure out that being racist will never bring the Maycomb County to be progressive. In my opinion they shouldn’t be racist because if you are racist then they other kind of people wouldn’t like you and then you will be one of the bad guys in the location that you are living present. The probability is that the rumors will go out and then you might be confronting serious problem trough any location that you live. Imagine being like a racist person that nobody likes you or maybe being the victim that will not be a happy moment to you or for the person that is attacking you.

It was used in the future tense. That once this is over and done with, depending on how the trial goes, then I might be able to talk to Chris,

This quote is saying that so far Tom Robinson and Atticus are getting really tense trough the trial. This happens because they liberty of Tom Robinson is at risk which makes Tom Robinson really tense on the trial. Atticus in the other hand is very calm to get a relieved so they can actually win this trial. If for any reason Atticus gets like Tom Robinson then maybe they might lose the case and they don’t want this to happen because Atticus wants to prove that no matter the color of the skin from the other person you must defend them. If Atticus doesn’t defend Tom Robinson then Atticus will feel bad by not helping an African American to get his liberty.
